What I’ve learned/How to Cope
- Insane people tend to apply error to error and still expect to find the truth. / Don’t get caught up in this cycle or circle of people.
- People like to punish error instead of correcting it. / Forgive people as they are learning the same things you once had to learn.
- In a savage world, the kind-hearted often feel like they cannot survive without also becoming savage. / Be kind anyway. There’s nothing fly about being a barbarian.
- It is okay to dream, but some people live their whole lives in dreams. In dreams, only the shadows play a major role. / Stop trying to wake up shadows. Take it from me, it’s not only exhausting, it distracts you from your own aspirations.
- Don’t fall in love with the package without checking the contents. / Stop falling for the thirst traps. Soda water is not living water.
- You can’t put clothes on a skeleton and make it alive. / Stop trying to rekindle with ex friends, foes, honeys, or whomever. If God put them in your life for a season, stop treating them like Houston weather.
- Sometimes it’s not the lie that destroys a thing. It’s all the steps liars take towards the lie. / Start fact checking people’s maps lest they lead you into a lie right along with them.
- Even perception cannot serve two masters. / Stay clear of double minded people.
- What gives life should not be used for death. / Watch your womb and your words.
- Not everyone is going to love as hard as you do. / Love anyway. But love in a way that also is able to let go when it’s time to let go.
